Howard F. Jenkins, Jr.

Howard F. Jenkins, Jr., age 83, of Wilmington, passed peacefully the afternoon of Monday, February 10, 2020.

Born in Clinton County on September 2, 1936, he was the son of the late Howard F., Sr. and Julia Ann ‘Knedler’ Jenkins.

He is survived by his loving wife, of almost 62 years, Freda Jenkins.  The two were united in marriage on June 15, 1958.

Howard was a Veteran of the United States Army.  He worked as a parts supervisor at Milacron for 33 years.

In addition to his wife, Howard is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Lynne (Jim) West; grandchildren: Tiffany (Andrew) Watson, Makayla Jenkins and Timella Jenkins; great-grandchildren: Jadlyn Badinghaus, Tanner and Eli Watson and Timmy Lee Watson; along with siblings: Dora Behymer, Leon Jenkins and Charles Jenkins.

In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by a son and daughter in-law, Timothy Howard and Melissa Jenkins; along with siblings: Dorothy Grantham, Tom Jenkins, Bill Jenkins, Blanche Parks, Earl Jenkins and James Jenkins.

Interment, at Clinton County Memory Gardens, will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 11am.  A celebration of life is to follow at Bible Baptist Church in Wilmington.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
