Homer J. Swisshelm, age 90, of Xenia, passed away on Thursday June 23, 2022, at his home.
Born March 21, 1932, in Clinton County, he was the son of Homer E. and Jessie Darbyshire Swisshelm.
Homer is survived by his wife, Lois Ann Hagley Swisshelm.
A graduate of Sabina High School, Homer retired as a diesel mechanic, working for Schwerman Trucking. During his many years with Schwerman, Homer worked in the shop and did emergency road service. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Temple of Xenia.
In addition to his wife, Homer is survived by children: Teresa Lynn (George) Ewing of Midway and Timothy Allen Swisshelm of Xenia; along with multiple grandchildren and great- grandchildren; and his sister, Wanda Haines of Denver.
Homer was preceded in death by siblings: Geneva, Doris, Opal, Sula, Alfred, Harold, Earl, Franklin, and Donald.

A graveside service will be held at the New Antioch Cemetery, New Antioch, Ohio on July 7, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. Arrangements are under the direction of Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.
