Gregory T. Hart

Gregory T. Hart, age 71, of Wilmington, passed peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Born in Middletown on September 1, 1953, he was the son of Robert T. and Margaret Elouise Getter Hart.

Greg is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Peggy L. Vandervort Hart.

He was a quality manager in aerospace and automotive for many years.  Greg was passionate and involved with Boy Scouts.  He was active in scout hikes, camping trips and their involvement with the Corn Festival.  He also enjoyed feeding the critters in his backyard – attracting birds, deer, and squirrels to watch.

In addition to his wife, Greg is survived by their sons: Christopher (Finti Leonita) Hart of Houston, Texas, and Michael (Laura) Hart of Wilmington.  Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Avery, Will and Wyatt; sister, Kathleen Hart Krulisch; brother, Steven (Linda) Hart; niece, Madison Hart; nephew, Lucas Hart; and father in-law, William Vandervort.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents and brother in-law, Alan Krulisch.

Friends may call at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 1-2pm.  A graveside service will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
