Gary P. Trenary

Gary P. Trenary, age 73, of Wilmington, passed peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2020.

Born in Hillsboro on April 5, 1947, he was the son of the late Ralph and Doris Ruth Setty Trenary.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Sandra Rogers Trenary.  The two were united in marriage on September 4, 1970.

Gary was a member of the Woodfield Baptist Church in Blanchester.  He was an avid hunter and gun collector.  For over 30 years, Gary was a school bus driver and mechanic, having worked at the Nike Center in Wilmington.  Throughout the years, Gary played drums in various bands; he also enjoyed working on old cars and motorcycles.

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by children: Melissa (Brian) Brown of Martinsville and Gary David (Heather) Trenary of Wilmington.  Also left to cherish his memory are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including special great-granddaughter, Lucie; sister in-law, Rita Trenary; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Phyllis Baser, Patty Trenary, Michael Trenary and David Trenary.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 10 am – 12 Noon, when a funeral service will begin.
