Gary H. Day

Gary H. Day, age 73, of Xenia, passed peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

Born on April 18, 1948, in Fayette County, he was the son of the late Corwin E. and Mary M. Anderson Day.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judith Ratliff Day.  The two were united in marriage on June 27, 1968.

Gary was a member of the Air Force Reserves for six years.  He worked at General Motors and retired as an over-head crane operator.  Gary enjoyed playing basketball in his younger years and was an avid watcher of the sport later on.

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by their children: Jody A. Day of Vandalia, Brian C. (Kendra) Day of Xenia, and Krista (Todd) Raygor of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Brandon (Chelsea) Day and Ryan Day; along with his brother, Bob Day of Sabina.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ronald Day and James Day.

There will be no services.  Littleton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
