Eric James Ford, age 32, of Wilmington, lost his life on November 2, 2022, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born on November 18, 1989, he was the son of Chip Ford, of Sabina and Tracy (Dave Bennett) Ross Ford, of Hillsboro.
Eric attended East Clinton Schools and was self-employed. He loved hunting and fishing and was very athletic, enjoying baseball, bowling, darts, and ping pong. Recently, Eric was introduced to drag racing and was quickly excelling, becoming very enthused and finding his place.
In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his sister, Katie (Brandon Locey) Ford of Waterloo; brother, Dacoda Bennett of Hillsboro; his girlfriend, Courtnay Graves of Wilmington, and children: Embery, Ethan, Eleigha, and Esme. Also left to cherish his memory are nephews, Kayden and Tristan Delay; maternal grandparents, Larry and Sue Ross of Hillsboro; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, including special cousins: Kyle Ross, Darren Ford and Clayton Ford. Eric is also survived by numerous members of the Howard Family.
Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald E. ‘Rip’ and Nona C. Ford.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions may do so to Littleton Funeral Home, to help with final expenses.
Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Monday, November 7, 2022, from 5-7pm. There will be no service and burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
