Eleanor Baker, 86, of Sabina, passed away on Monday evening, May 30, 2016, in Miami Valley Medical Center.
Born November 12, 1929 at home, she was the daughter of Alfred and Villa Glass Webb.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, Robert Baker, whom she married in 1957.
She was a graduate of Jefferson High School and attended Miami University. Eleanor joined the Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict. She later served at the Clinton County Airbase, Wright Patt and retired from DESC. After her service, she worked at Heathergreen Nursing Center, in Jamestown, for several years until she retired to care for her parents at home.
An avid reader, she also loved working on the farm and taking care of chickens and dairy cows.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Lee (Allison) Baker, of Sabina and Ward (Kaci Wagle) Baker, of Jamestown, along with five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings, Clara and Hubert Webb.
Family will receive friends on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Littleton Funeral Home from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be private.
