Eldon R. Haffner, age 80, of Washington Court House, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at St. Catherine’s Manor.

Born February 27, 1940, in Fayette County, he was the son of Phillip and Hazel Briggs Haffner.

He was preceded by his first wife, Wahneta Haffner, and second wife, Cleva Haffner.

After high school, Eldon joined the Army.  He worked at, and retired from, Palm Harbor Homes.  He was an avid OSU sports fan, loved his coffee, westerns and telling jokes to all.

He is survived by his children; Phillip Haffner of Wilmington and Ronnie (Leanne) Haffner of Washington Court House.  Also left to cherish Eldon's memory are grandchildren: Kyle (Zach) Fears, Branden Haffner, Colten Haffner, Cody Clay, Ashley (Richard) Brooks, Winnann Sharp, Dustin Taylor and Alexis Meddock; great grandchildren: Taytan Brooks, Kale and Zoey Fears, Luna Taylor and Zaythan Kovach; a special niece and several other family members.

In addition to his wives, Eldon was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Jones.

A private graveside service will be at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
