Edna Jean (Wagner) Nunley

Edna Jean Nunley, age 70, of Sabina, passed on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Clinton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Pickaway County on October 5, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Margaret Shadley Wagner.

Edna was a Sabina High School graduate.  She worked at Uhl’s IGA in Sabina for over 10 years.  Edna was an avid NASCAR fan who loved to crochet, listen to gospel music and play games on the internet.  She was a lover of yard sales and Christmas time – decorating every inch of her home, even the bathroom!  But, Edna was happiest being involved with her grandchildren and their various activities.

Edna leaves behind her daughters: Kimberly (Richard) Clark and Tracey Cubbage, all of Sabina, and her son, Dwayne (Larry) Nunley of Wilmington.  Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Courtney (Gabe) Pruiksma, Cortlynn Cubbage and Jacob Cubbage; one great-grandchild, due in November; siblings: Anna Lee Davis of Pennsylvania, Linda Holden and James Wagner, both of Washington Court House; special nieces, Janie Davis and Charlene Nunley; special friend, Carla Drake; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by an infant son, Bradley Scott; son in-law, Ron Cubbage; siblings: Marjorie Simonson and Edson Wagner; and the father of her children, Larry Nunley.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations to Littleton Funeral Home, to help with final expenses.

Family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2019, from 6-8pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10am.  Burial to follow at Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.
