Dora A. (Dearth) Barber

Dora Alice ‘Dearth’ Barber, age 92, died peacefully at her home on Feb 1, 2018, at 1:45am, surrounded by her children.  She was in Hospice Care, due to renal failure.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband, George, a daughter Terry Ann and a son Victor.

She is survived by seven children: Dora (Barber) Sonnenburg (husband Robert), of CA, Steven Barber (wife Connie), of OH, Carol Taylor, of OH, Larry Barber (wife Cora), of Washington State, Philip Barber, of Washington State, Mendy Southard (husband Scott), of NV, and Cindi Barber ElJof, of CA.

She is also survived by 7 siblings, 17 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Highland County Veterans Services or Church of the Nazerene, Hillsboro, OH.

Family will receive friends, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 9:30am – 11am, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Fayette County.
