Donna June (Riley) Vaughan

Private graveside services were conducted on Friday, February 2, 2018, for Donna J. Riley Vaughn, of Wilmington.  Donna passed peacefully on January 30, 2018, she was 87 years old.

Born in Highland County on November 24, 1930, Donna was the daughter of the late William and Vera Riley.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Webster Vaughan, who passed on March 26, 1986.

Donna was a cook for Wilmington Schools for many years.  In her free time, she was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed preparing meals for her family.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Roger (Priscilla) Vaughan and Ronald (Kim) Vaughan, all of Wilmington; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Laura Conner, of Middletown; and special cousin, Bonnie Denehy Wright, of Washington Court House.

The family wishes to extend appreciation to all staff and nurses at Wilmington Nursing and Rehab, as well as Community Care Hospice.

Burial took place at the New Vienna IOOF Cemetery with Troy Villars officiating.
