Donna (Sanderson) Talmage went to be with the Lord September 30, 2016 .

She was born November 16th, 1920 near Bowersville, Ohio.

Donna was preceded in death by her brother Neil and husband Bob Talmage. She is also survived by a daughter Roberta Cline, grandson Bobby Cline and great grandson Robby Cline, and son Trent Talmage his wife Karlyne of Cincinnati.

She worked in her teens at her parent’s store in Bloomington, Ohio stocking shelves and pumping gas. She told many stories about these depression years and the local people that supported the store. Donna went to school in Bowersville and graduated in 1938 then attended Cincinnati Bible Seminary until the war broke out. During World War II Donna worked in Dayton at the National Cash Register (NCR) which was converted into making war material. She helped manufacture machine gun sights and other war items.

After the war Donna continued to work at the NCR where she met her future husband Bob Talmage. They were married fifty-one years until his death in 1999. Donna lived her whole life in Sabina and served the community as a census taker and a poll worker. She loved her church life and was a lifetime member of the Sabina Church of Christ. She played organ and piano for the church for several years along with participating in many other church activities.

The family strongly suggests that in lieu of flowers that any donations are given to Community Care Hospice of Wilmington or to the Sabina Church of Christ Building Fund.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday October 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sabina Cemetery.
