Donald B. Hess

Donald B. Hess, age 82, of Sabina, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on May 24, 1937, he was the son of the late Burl and Lavone Chaney Hess.

Don was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lucille Huffman Hess.

He attended Wilmington school and retired from Landmark, where he retired as a Grain Terminal Operator.  Don loved to work on lawn mowers and enjoyed CB Radios, where he went by the handle, “Happy Jack”.

Don is survived by his children: Jane Huff of Sabina, Kenneth D. (Clarissa) Hess of Washington Court House, and Kevin D. Hess of Wilmington.  Also left to cherish his memory is daughter in-law, Kim Hess of Sabina; grandchildren: Jesse, Brad, and Tricia; along with several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Don was preceded in death by his son, Kerry Lee Hess.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
