Dennis 'Denny' W. Ferguson

Dennis W. "Denny" Ferguson, age 60, of Monroe passed away on October 29, 2024 at Kettering Medical Center.

Born in Washington Court House on September 25, 1964, the son of Betty Wilson Ferguson of Bowersville and the late Dale Ferguson.

Denny is survived by his wife, Caroline Anderson Ferguson.

He is a retired teacher having taught in East Clinton, Hillsboro, Oakwood, Franklin, and Monroe School districts.  Denny coached a variety of sports, which included varsity boys' basketball, as head coach, at East Clinton, Franklin, and Monroe.

Denny was a member of the Bowersville Church of Christ; he loved people and had a great rapport with everyone he met. His quick wit, humor, and ability to make people smile made him a joy to be around – this is evident by his wealth of friends.  Following in his love for sports he enjoyed traveling, playing golf, going for walks with his wife, and spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his wife, Denny is also survived by his children: Jared and Holt Ferguson and granddaughter Marilyn; along with siblings: Dee Ferguson, Lisa (Tim) Matthews and Steve (Joan) Ferguson.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Bowersville Church of Christ from 10:00 A.M. until the Celebration of Life at 1:00 P.M.  A luncheon will follow the service.

Burial, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville, will take place at the convenience of the family. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina has been entrusted with arrangements.
