Dennis is survived by his loving significant other, Dovie Lemmings, and his three daughters, Wendy Benson (Joe), Christina Younker-Pullen, and Mary Beth Beaver. While life’s circumstances sometimes created distances, Dennis will be a memory of his beloved grandchildren: Todd Brown, Matthew Younker (Lauren), Emma Younker, Jayshaun & Courtney Pullen, Jesse Benson and Kaylee Benson, Phillip James Lemmings, Craig Beaver, and Vanessa Couch. Dennis was blessed with three great-grandkids: Karter Jane Younker, Kasen Edward Lee Brown, Talis Ryan Mathieu Brown. Dennis absolutely adored his significant other’s children: Jason, Jessica and John. He will be dearly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved father, Enze O. Younker and mother, Thelma Younker, and his greatly cherished son, Danny Younker, and his Daughter-in-Law, Heather Younker. He also mourned the loss of his sisters, Opal Hammond, Jackie McDowell, and Mary Lou Meadows Skaggs.
Dennis had a true passion for the outdoors and embraced activities that allowed him to connect with nature. He found immense joy in hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. One of his favorite pastimes was riding his quads down the riverbanks in Frankfort, Ohio, where he experienced the beauty of the surroundings. Dennis was also an avid gardener and took great pride in his gardening and canning skills.
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear."
