Denise Mulkey

Denise Mulkey, age 61, of New Vienna and, formerly, Columbus, passed away on Thursday morning, November 1, 2018, at her home. Born in Lockborne, Ohio, on February 6, 1957, the daughter of the late Joe Napier and Betty Gartin Jones; surviving is Everette Wright, who has always been there through all the important times of her life. Denise is preceded in death by her husband Bruce Mulkey, and survived by companion, Mate Skunza. She was a retail manager, having opened Odd Lots in Wilmington and Family Dollar in Greenfield. Denise also worked at R&L Salvage and was known to all as a great shopper. Denise is survived by her children: Beth (Lester Sinett) Mulkey of Lancaster, Nakkea (Jerome Woody) Mulkey of Wilmington, B.J. Mulkey of Chillicothe and Rowdy (Jecoliah) Farmer of Hillard. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Toby (Bree), Seth, Miah, Adan and Charletta; great grandchildren: Braxton and Brayliegh; siblings: Greg, Keith, Linda and Melinda. Denise is also survived by special friends: Michael, Ladonna, Dondee, Carol and Jeanie; special aunt: Doris Matney; and host of family members and friends. Family will receive friends at the Wilmington Church of God on Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 10-12Noon, when a funeral service will begin.
