Dean M. Dato

Dean M. Dato, age 61, of Sabina, passed unexpectedly at home on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

Born in Pickaway County on June 26, 1960, he was the son of the late William and Helen Jean Dato.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Rebecca ‘Becky’ Cline Dato.

Dean was a graduate from Chillicothe Technical School.  He went on become a Certified Electrician, working with high voltage.  Dean retired as an independent contractor.  He loved to camp and be outdoors and was always willing to help people.  An avid NASCAR fan, Dean was a member of the American Legion and the Sabina Moose.

In addition to his wife, Dean is survived by his children: Rusty (Nikki) Dato of Greenfield, Laura Jones and Brandi (Bill) Ruth, all of Cincinnati.  Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Myah, Emrey, Carson, Levi, Corbin, Kalynn, Nevaeh, Cali, Airanna, and Paisleigh; and a host of extended family members and in-laws.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 10:30 am – 12 Noon, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery.
