Dayle Y. Brown

Dayle Yvonne Brown, age 61, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 2 ,2021.

She was born August 13, 1959, in Wilmington to the late Roger and Evelyn Brown.

Dayle was a 1977 graduate of Wilmington High School.  She attended Kentucky Christian College for two years before transferring to Morehead State University, where she graduated in 1983.

She was formerly employed with Phillip Markwood Architects Inc. in Columbus for 17 years as an Administrative Assistant, before retiring to become a full-time caregiver for her parents.  Dayle also worked at Butler Springs Christian Assembly, in Hillsboro, for 10 years, as an office manager.

She was a member of the New Antioch Church of Christ, where she served as a pianist; she loved singing with choirs and ensembles throughout her life.  Dayle was a former member of the Wilmington Senior Center, where she enjoyed playing chair volleyball each week.  She enjoyed swimming, arts and crafts, baking and sewing for family, friends, and charities.

Dayle is survived by her two nephews: Captain Aaron (Elsie) Peercy (USAF), Altus, OK and Christopher Peercy, Aurora, CO; two great nieces: Hannah and Ellen Peercy; uncle, Wilbur Cline; brother in-law, Ron Peercy; along with numerous cousins and cherished friends.

In addition to her parents, Dayle was preceded in death by her sister, Rachel Peercy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to Kentucky Christian University, Grayson, Kentucky.

Friends may call at the New Antioch Church of Christ on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 10am, until the funeral service begins at 11am.  Sid Clay will officiate.  Burial to follow at Martinsville IOOF Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina.
