David Alan Uhl, age 61, of Jacksonville, FL and formerly of Sabina, passed away March 18, 2025.
Born July 3, 1963, the son of the late Alfred “Bub” and Joellen Hall Uhl.
Alan graduated from East Clinton High School in 1981, where he was a member and participant of the football team and track and field teams during his high school years. After high school he attended Eastern Kentucky University and Technical Schools for a career in computers and information technology. He moved to central Florida in the early 1980’s to be near his sister Sandy and has remained there since. Alan was generous, friendly and tender hearted to all he knew. He had an infectious laugh that was contagious to anyone close to him. Alan always enjoyed the outdoors, kayaking, his pets and fishing. He also enjoyed the company of his family and friends.
Alan is survived by his daughters, Sadie Uhl and Miranda (Adam) Romano and granddaughter, Vivian Romano. He is also survived by brother: Robb (Kim) Uhl of Sabina and his Uhl and Hall Family cousins, aunts and uncles, and the mother of his children, Deanna Brumley Uhl.
In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded by his sister Sandra Jo (Steve) Uhl- Soloman.
A Celebration of Life is planned for early summer in Florida with Alan’s ashes to be added to his mother and sister’s ashes at his father’s grave site in Greenfield, Ohio.
