David L Payne Sr.

David L. Payne Sr. age 55, of Lynchburg passed away at his home, Thursday morning, July 4, 2019.

He was born July 15, 1963 in Wilmington, the son of of the late Charles “Jim” and Mary Flint Payne.

He attended Sabina and Blanchester High Schools and was in the maintenance department for Wal-Mart for several years.

Dave is survived by his daughter, Samantha Snyder, and daughter in-law, Amanda Payne; sister, Sandra J (Tommy) Sardinas, and former wife and good friend: Tara Dimario. Also left to cherish his memory are 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and many special friends; three uncles: Larry, Edward and Raymond Baker.

He was preceded in death by daughters: Erin M and Elizabeth E. Payne; son, David L. “DJ” Payne Jr.; brother: Charles Edward Payne; and grandparents: Edward and Marie Baker and Dennis and Bessie Browning.

A funeral service will be on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Cremation will follow the service with burial in the Blanchester IOOF Cemetery at a later date.

The family would greatly appreciate donations to be made directly to the funeral home to help with the expenses.
