Danny J. Wilson

Danny J. Wilson, age 74, of Sabina, passed away at Clinton Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 17, 2021.

Born in Sabina on January 5, 1947, he was the son of the late Hubert ‘Dink’ and Lillian (Sanderson) Wilson.

Danny is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Shirley Cooper Wilson.  The two were united in marriage on November 24, 1971.

Danny grew up in Greenfield and served in the United States Army.  He worked, for over 30 years, at the John A. Biewer Lumber Company in Washington Court House.   Danny was a very humble and simple man.  He enjoyed collecting knives and Native American trinkets.

In addition to his wife, Danny is survived by their children: Tiffiney, and her husband Adam, Michael of Hillsboro, Danny Wilson and Jeremy Wilson of Sabina.  Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Kailey Wilson and Danny Kyler Wilson, both of Wilmington, and Shaylee Kolodziejski of Fairborn; sister in-law, Terry Wilson; niece, Teri (Bruce) Adamson of Troy; nephews: Jeff (Sheila) Sloan of Sidney, and Bobby (Diane) Sloan of Sabina; along with many cousins.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler William Elbe Michael; sister, Shirley Fordyce; brothers, Larry and Tony Wilson; and nephews, Kelly Sloan and James Fordyce.

Services, under the direction of Littleton Funeral Home, will be private.  Burial will take place at Sabina Cemetery.
