Dana "Fireball" Roberts

Dana W. Roberts , age 77, of Sabina, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

He was born in Sabina on July 21, 1941, the son of Able Riley “Bud” Roberts and Mary E. Grooms Roberts.

Dana was a Simon Kenton High School graduate.  He was a member of the Sabina Moose Lodge, and the VFW and Eagles, both in Washington Court House.

He is survived by his children: Angie Roberts and Rhonda (David) Woodgeard all of Sabina, Tara Lynn (Dave) Taitt of Snellville, Georgia, and Darcy (Brian) Ehlers of Urbandale, Iowa.

Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: T.J. , Seth, and Dana Howard, Jessica Roberts, Hannah and Abigail Ehlers, and Donovan and Danielle Taitt; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Bonnie Smith of Bainbridge, Deloris (Bob) Morgan of Sabina, Marty (Gene) Sliker of McCormick, SC, and Denver Roberts of Wilmington.

In addition to his parents, Dana was preceded in death by siblings: Bernard and Beryl, and brother in-law, Charles Smith.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Friends may call on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2-4pm at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, where funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, January 14, 2019.  Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery.
