Cynthia Sue (Parks) Wade, 49, of Wilmington, passed peacefully Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
Born November 21, 1966 In Washington Court House, Cindy was the daughter of the late Morris 'Joe' and Mary Ellis Parks. She was a 1985 graduate of Wilmington High School, a Clinton County 4-H advisor for many years and a beloved child care provider to many.
Cindy is survived by her two daughters, Desteny (Landen) Phillips and Caylee Murphy, all of Wilmington. Also left to cherish her memory is her long time companion, Raymond Murphy of Wilmington; grandchildren: Logan, Skyler, and Riley Phillips and Heidi Murphy; her siblings: Curtis (Chris) Parks of Lynchburg and Beverly (Marcus) Parks of Sparta, Tennessee; along with nieces and nephews: Hannah, Samuel and Nathaniel Parks and Tessa Hicks.
In addition to her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Ann Wade; granddaughter, Kaylynn Couch; and sister, Patricia Parks.
Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm when the funeral service will begin.
