Connie Rice Sears, age 75, of Washington Court House, passed peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
Born on April 21, 1949, she was the daughter of James Watt and Malvie (Frazier) Rice.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Randy E. Sears.
She was a 1967 graduate of East Clinton. Connie retired from the Montgomery Development Center in Huber Heights, where she worked as a supervisor.
Connie was passionate about her hometown, Sabina. She was a member of the Historical Society, helped start the Military Banner Project in Sabina, and was involved in anything else she could be around town. Connie enjoyed spending time with her former classmates and cherished friends, reading and traveling.
She is survived by her children, of whom she was immensely proud: Dion (Sandy) Brown of Marysville, Tasha (Chris Goff) Brown Banki of Hickory, North Carolina, and James Wesley Sears of Washington Court House. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Dryden Brown, Madelaine Osborne, Nathan (Hailey) Honeycutt, Chelsea (Austin) Savage, Grace (Trent McPeters) Honeycutt, Taylor Banki, Braylon Sears, Landon Sears, and Bradleigh Justice; great grandchildren: Levi Honeycutt, Leah Honeycutt, Michael Savage, Elizabeth Savage and Tobias McPeters; along with lifelong friends: Linda Peelle Moore, Bonnie Armstrong DeBold, and Debbie Woods.
Memorial contributions would be greatly appreciated to the Sabina Library or the Sabina Historical Society.
A visitation will be held at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 2:30-4pm, when a celebration of life will begin. Burial will take place at Milledgeville Plymouth Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
