Charles Andrew Henize

Charles Andrew Henize, age 35, of Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

Born on December 1, 1988, he was the son of Lora Shiltz (John) King of Frankfort and Robin Charles (Kathryn) Henize of Gladstone, Michigan.

Charlie was a 2007 graduate of McClain High School and Laurel Oaks.  For many years, he worked at Candle-lite.  Charlie enjoyed the outdoors, liked woodworking, was always busy renovating his home or working on his Jeep, and was passionate about music.  He was always present and an active participant in family gatherings and loved spending time with family.

Charlie attended Fruitdale Community Church and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion – Post 25, Washington Court House.

In addition to his family, he is survived by siblings: James Stonerock, Tony (Thea) Stonerock, Sarah King, Joseph King, Carrie Hawthorn, and Lindsey Spencer.  Also left to cherish his memory is special nephew: Ian Stonerock; special cousins: Tiffeny (Brock) Kirkpatrick and Jennifer (Jared) Chester; best friend, Brian Piatt; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to Fruitdale Community Church.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 2-4pm at Fruitdale Community Church (11223 OH 41, Greenfield).  On Monday, November 4, a graveside service will take place at Highlawn Cemetery, Washington Court House at 11am. A Celebration of Life gathering will follow at the American Legion Post, Washington C.H. at 12 Noon   Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
