Cecil Clinton Lansing, age 83, of New Vienna, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Life Care Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg.
He was born October 15, 1932 in Pike County to Ollie and Myrtle Lansing.
Cecil worked in timber most of his life as a bulldozer operator. He worked with his two younger brothers until he retired, in full, three years ago.
Cecil is survived by his wife, Dorothy Funk Lansing, who he married on June 21, 1959.
He is also survived by his four daughters: Wilma (Gary) Rahmlow, Cecile (Tim) Burns, Lisa Lowman, and Kelly Johnson; eight grandchildren: Zack (Samantha) Adams, Matthew (Nicole) Rahmlow, Nathan (Gertrude) Rahmlow, Brittany, Aysha, and Catlin Lowman, and Molly and Brady Leathley. Also left to cherish his memory are four great-grandchildren, Emma and Cameron Adams and Reagan and Hunter Rahmlow; sisters, Florie and Katherine; and brothers, Lloyd and Floyd.
In addition to his parents, Cecil is preceded by his son in-law, Willis Johnson; sisters, Linna, Faye, Merlie and Ethel; and brothers, Jim, Emory, and Everett.
Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, from 5-7p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 25, 2015 at 11 am. Burial to follow in Sabina Cemetery.
