Catherine I. (Shoemaker) Hawkins

Catherine I. Hawkins, age 59, of Sabina, passed on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Clinton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Wilmington on March 18, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth (Hoff) Shoemaker.

Cathy worked as a server at Bob Evans, retiring after seventeen years.  She was happiest spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She leaves behind her husband, Paul E. ‘Ed’ Hawkins.

Also left to cherish her memory are children: Christy (Fred) Marsden of Jamestown and Richard ‘Rich’ (Lindsay Hidy) Edwards of Greenfield; granddaughters: Krissy Marsden and Allison Edwards; grandsons: Levi Marsden, RJ Edwards and Jase Edwards; sisters: Mary (John) Bosier, Peggy Grooms, Donna Briggs and Joyce Dunn; brothers: William (Anna) Shoemaker and Jim Shoemaker; long time friends: Wendy McCormick and Janet Jones; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by siblings: Tammy Sweet, Marilyn Sue Shoemaker, David Shoemaker and Danny Shoemaker.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Saturday, December 8, 2018, from 11-12 Noon, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery.
