Catherine Earley, age 74, of Sabina, passed peacefully Thursday evening, December 14, 2017.
Born in Clinton County on December 27, 1942, Cathy was the daughter of the late Roy A. (Ruth Anna Gaskins) Watson and Thelma Bentley Watson.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gary Earley. The two were married on June 15, 1960.
She was a Port William High School graduate and earned her Business Degree in Accounting from Xavier University. As the head of the accounting department at National Bank and Trust, Cathy retired in 2001. She was a former 4H member and advisor.
In addition to her husband, Cathy is survived by her children, Ann (Barry) Foxworthy and Roger (Teresa) Earley, all of Sabina. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Tyler (Brittany) Foxworthy, Jessica Nicole Foxworthy, Lacy Marie Earley, and Chelsea Ann (Kyle) Woodruff; great grandchildren: Zane Edward, Carter Joseph, Thomas William and Cohen Lynn; sisters, Jenny Watson and Sharon (John) Trivett , all of Wilmington; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara and Rita.
Friends may call at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, on Monday, at 1pm. Burial to follow at New Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William.
