Carolyn S. (Newland) Pritchet, 77, of Xenia, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Born in Sabina on November 5, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Vern and Josie Shultz Newland.
Carolyn graduated from East Clinton and worked as an accountant. She had very strong faith and loved the Lord. She enjoyed reading, dancing, spending time outdoors and with her family, and attending church.
She is survived by her children: Robyn (Harold) Quarles of Xenia, Steven (Carmen) Pritchet of Canal Winchester, and Cynthia Williams of Brandon, FL. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: LaTrina Pritchet, NaShay Smith, Kaytie Smith, and Timyah Brockington; along with siblings: Barbara (Donald) Smith of Wilmington and Paul Newland of Sabina.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn is also preceded in death by siblings: Charles Coder, Mildred Coder Hamilton, Jean Newland Driscoll, and Larry Newland.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to a repast at 1pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Bethel Temple (914 E 3rd St, Xenia). Littleton Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
