Carolyn Woodmansee Akers

Carolyn W. Akers, age 88, of Sabina, passed away on Thursday morning, March 18, 2021, at her home.

Born in Wayne Township March 17, 1933, she was the daughter of Charles Everett and Mabel Hammond Woodmansee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.P. Akers in 2008.

Carolyn was a 1951 graduate of Sabina High School and retired from The Randall Co. She had also worked as a Nursing Assistant in Wyoming and Clinton Memorial Hospital; her first job was working for the State Highway Patrol. Carolyn attended the Sabina Friends Church and the Sabina Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughters: Chyanne, Wendy, Julie and Jackie.  Also left to cherish her memory are 6 grandchildren,9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; along with siblings: Jane and John.

In addition to her husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda; grandsons, Shiloh and JP; a brother, Bob; and sister, Janet Lee.

A graveside service will be held at the Sabina Cemetery on Sunday March 21, 2021 at 2:00. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina has been entrusted with arrangements.
