Carl R. Lemmings

Carl R. Lemmings, age 79, of Sabina, passed peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on Monday, January 13, 2025.

Born in Jeffersonville on September 2, 1945, he was the son of the late John R. and Ines Fugate Lemmings.

Carl is survived by his wife, Vivian Mitchell Lemmings.  The two were united in marriage on June 8, 1984.

For 40 years, he worked at Ferno-Washington in Wilmington.  Carl enjoyed remodeling houses, and he loved cars.  Attending car shows and racing cars were some of his favorite past-times.

In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by daughters: Gina Hatcher of Marysville and Lesa Briggs of Sabina.  Also left to cherish his memory is his sister, Shirley (Richard) Evans and brother, Charles (Dot) Lemmings; granddaughters: Courtney, Miranda, and Lexi Hatcher, Lindsey Roderer, Lauren Lechuga and Allison Briggs; and great-grandchildren: Hannah, Taylor, AJ, Kinsley, Mia, Mason, Caroline, Graylee, Levi, Lucas, Weston, and Makenlee.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 12Noon until the time of funeral service at 1pm.  Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery.
