Brenda L. Dennis, 75, of Sabina, passed away at home, being cared for by her family on Saturday evening, March 25, 2017.
Born June 24, 1941 in Greenfield, the daughter of Raymond and Bertha McNutt Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dennis, on Aug. 31, 2014. The two were married September 26, 1958.
An employee of the former Allied Technology of Sabina, Brenda was a member of the Spring Grove UMC in Jeffersonville and attended the Trinity Full Gospel Church of Sabina. She loved to dance, listen to music, was a bell and angel collector that loved gardening and spending time with her family.
Brenda is survived by her children, Cheryl (James Hicks) Dennis of Sabina, Richard L (John Henderson) Dennis Jr. of Terra Haute, Joseph (Michael Smith) Dennis of Sabina; and Gary (Mae) Dennis of Sabina. Also left to cherish her memory is former son in-law Richard Ludwick of Sabina; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; siblings: Phyllis (Dale) Gilmore of Washington C.H. and James “Jimmy” Smith of Columbus.
Brenda was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Ludwick; grandson, Wayland Zurface; and siblings, Patty Smith, Sonny Smith, Bertie Fern Wisecup and Shelby Bowers.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at 1:00 at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina where friends may call on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, from 5:00 until 7:00. Burial will follow in the Sabina Cemetery.
