Bobby D. Quigley

Bobby D. Quigley, age 86, of Martinsville, passed peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

Born at their family residence on King Rd. Martinsville on May 22, 1938, he was the son of Frank and Leona Elizabeth Claibourne Quigley.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Wilma Deatley Quigley in 2016.

After graduating from Martinsville High School in 1956, Bobby farmed and retired from Airborne Sort after over 20 years. In his retirement, he was a well-known and beloved greeter at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Bobby was a member of the Antique Power Club, Hart Parr Oliver Collectors Association as well other clubs including the Buckeye Allis Club. He loved going to the National Farm and Machinery Show and Tractor Pull every year. Bobby was a member of the Wilmington Church of Christ.

He is survived by his children: Marla (Keith) Sparks of Xenia, Martin (Cathy) Quigley of Martinsville, Angie (Harley) Palmateer of Wilmington, and Alyssa (Mike) Alden of Wilmington. Also left to cherish his memory are grandchildren: Andy (Leann) Kerns, Megan (Brandon) Showen, Adam Kerns, Scott Sparks, Morgan (Niko) Suntay, Mallory (Zach) Holland, Benjamin (Courtney) Sparks, Cassie Alden and Madison (Zach) Cook and10 great grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his siblings: Harold, Burdette, Forest, Samuel, Betty and Ruthanna.

The family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina on Sunday February 16, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. and on Tuesday February 18, 2025, at the Wilmington Church of Christ from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery.
