Barbara 'Bobbe' (Cox) Powers

Barbara 'Bobbe' Cox Powers, age 83, of Wilmington, passed peacefully at Four Seasons on Saturday, February 1, 2020.

Born on December 7, 1936, in Richland Township, she was the daughter of the late Wayne F. and Kathryn Virginia Drake Cox.

Bobbe was a Wilmington High School graduate, and went on to attend Ohio University.  She worked at Sabina Bank, in various doctors offices in Dayton and Florida, doing airline reservations in Chicago and Texas, and retired from Great Oaks Vocational School as a secretary.  Bobbe attended the Wilmington Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

In addition to her parents, Bobbe was preceded in death by her brother, J.T. Cox.

Friends may gather at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, from 12Noon - 1pm.  A graveside service and burial at Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek, will follow.
