Barbara Ann (Scott) Morris

Barbara Ann Morris, age 72, of Leesburg, passed on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Bethesda North Hospital.

Born in Mesa, AZ, on May 14, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Alice Burger Benton and John Scott.

Barbara received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and, later, worked in the medical office of Dr. Joy Leverich.  Barbara attended the Community Christian Church in Lees Creek.  She was a member of the Clinton County Homemakers and enjoyed playing bridge.  Barbara was passionate about helping women and children and found joy in doing things for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert ‘Rob’ Morris, on March 9, 2012.  At the time of his death, the two had been married over 40 years.

Barbara is survived by her children: Tracy (Michael) Hiles of Cincinnati, Rochelle ‘Shelly’ Morris of Mason, and Scott Morris of Wilmington.  Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Justin, Katie and Ella; along with sister, Janet Scott Brooks of Apache Junction, AZ; brother, Paul Scott of Scottsdale, AZ; and sister in-law Charlotte (Bob) Grim of Sabina.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the Community Christian Church in Lees Creek.  Private burial at Centerville Cemetery, Lees Creek, will be held at the convenience of the family.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
