Barbara D. Hall, age 69, of Sabina, passed on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
Born in Wilmington on November 21, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Pence and Doris Hamilton Pence. Barbara was raised in Sabina by Gerald and Mary Matthews.
A 1970 East Clinton graduate, Barbara worked for Bundy Tubing in Sabina and Washington Court House, where she retired as an operator. In her younger years, Barbara enjoyed hunting and always had a dream to start a produce orchard on her property. She was most content at home and enjoyed the company of her cherished dogs.
Barbara is survived by her son, Heath Hall and his wife, Tonya, of Wilmington; grandchildren: Shanda Marie Hall, Brandon Michael (Shelby) Hall, Jessica Lane, Samantha, Cliff, Tyler and Harlee Pringle; great-grandchildren: Little Brandon and Lillian Hall, Jasmine and Raphael Lane, Tanner and Jamison Sturgill, Little Cliff Pringle, Bentley, Mason and Callie Pringle, and one on the way. Also left to cherish her memory is her sister, Deloris Moon of Sabina; brother, Roger Pence of Martinsville; biological daughter, Joy Taylor of Alabama and her children: Brianna, Chandler and Cameron; along with several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her former husband, David Hall; great-granddaughter Oaklynn Sturgill; and brother, Neil ‘Butch’ Pence.
A memorial gathering will be held at the convenience of the family. Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
