Barbara E. (Waddell) Morris

Barbara E. Morris, age 85, of Wilmington, passed away at her home on Sunday morning, February 27, 2022.

Born February 16, 1937, the daughter of Everett C. and Juanita A. Purdy Waddell.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James Morris, on June 15, 2007.

A Sabina High School graduate, Barbara had attended Miami University.  She was a member of the Sabina United Methodist Church, the bell choir and past president of the UMC Women’s Club. She had served on the election board, as a Clinton County Lady Shriner, Sabina PTO president and was one of the founders of the Sabina Halloween Carnival. Barbara was also a member of the Central Ohio Republican Committee.

She is survived by her children: Mary Beth (Matthew) DeSantis of Columbus, Carol Ann (Randy) Meister of the Loveland Area and James E. (Leslee) Morris of Wilmington. Also left to cherish her memory are grandchildren: Claire, Connor and Caroline DeSantis, William and Lola Meister; brother, William (Lili) Waddell of El Paso; and sister-in-law, Janet (Gayle dec) Zimmerman of Leesburg; several nieces, nephews and also great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Barb was also preceded in death by a son Jeffrey J. Morris.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 4, 2022, from Noon until the time of service at 1:00 at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. Burial will be in the Sabina Cemetery.
