Barbara M. Campbell

Barbara M. Campbell, age 76, of Jeffersonville, passed unexpectedly on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Born on October 9, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Colaw  and Margaret Jenkins Smith.

Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Campbell, who passed in 2021.

She graduated high school and went on to become an STNA. After her retirement, Barb was the manager of Noble Roman’s Pizza and kept busy working at various gas stations. She enjoyed watching WWE and boxing, playing BINGO, fishing, and bowling. Barb loved to eat ice cream and play cards. She was happiest when spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are children: Rodney Campbell of Jeffersonville, Jodi (Mike) Williams of Washington Court House, and son in-law, Douglas Trubee of Bowersville. She is also survived by grandchildren: Holly (Scott) Hudson, Jennifer (Mike) Williams, Brandon (Hali) Williams, Jacob Trubee, and Allen (Kaitlyn) Williams; great grandchildren: Chassity, Chloee, Wyatt, Chelsea, Berkley, Silas, Brooks, Emma, Jayde and Colten; brothers: Terry (Becky) Smith and Steve (Pam) Smith; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a very special friend, Thelma "Peanut" Mullikin.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Barb was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Trubee; granddaughter, Carrie Trubee; great grandson, Andrew Williams; sister in-law Rosa Ault Johnston; and brother, Roger (Jamie) Colaw; and great aunt, Opal Cummings.

Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Jamestown Cancer Society or the Cincinnati Children’s Heart Institute.

Friends may call at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 3pm until 5pm, when a service will begin. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
