Amanda 'Mandy' (Anders) Hughes

Amanda Anders Hughes, age 51, of Milledgeville, passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Born in Washington Court House on January 13, 1973, Mandy was the daughter of the late Rita Conley Anders and Wilbur Anders, Jr., who survives.

Mandy was an avid gardener and loved tending to her flowers outside.  She enjoyed cooking and was a true animal lover, having dogs around her all of her life.

In addition to her father, Mandy is survived by children: Jordie Woods, Caroline Hughes, Rhett Hughes and Wyatt Atley; grandchildren: Easton, Zaiden and Zylie; siblings: James (Megan) Anders of Washington Court House, Renee (Chris) Curry of Milledgeville, and Missy (Kenneth) Smith of Washington Court House; as well as special aunts, Brenda Anders and Terry Pursley; cherished cousin, Shannon Anders; and many additional extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at Milledgeville Plymouth Cemetery on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 11am.  Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
