Alisha K. Briggs

Alisha Kaye Briggs, age 36, of Wilmington, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Born on March 9, 1987, she was the daughter of Jona Branham Briggs and the late Ronald Dale Briggs.

Alisha attended East Clinton High School and Southern State Community College.  She worked various jobs but found a true passion in waitressing.  Alisha loved working at Denny’s and Roosters because she could interact with everyone she encountered!  A wonderful cook and an avid crafter, Alisha loved to paint, crochet, and color.  She was passionate about music – especially George Jones, and more recently, Jellyroll – enjoyed camping, taking pictures, and all things girly: hair, nails, makeup, and glitter.  Above all, Alisha loved spending time with her children, family, and her friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children: Hannah Calhoun, Taylor Creamer and AJ Creamer; sisters, Allison (Trenton Harrington) Briggs of Sabina and Megan (Christopher) Stratton of Wilmington; brother, Eric Franz, of Texas; grandmother, Vivian (Carl) Lemmings of Sabina; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In addition to her father, Alisha was preceded in death by daughter, Libby Creamer, and grandfather, Ronald ‘Spike’ Briggs.

Family will receive friends at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Monday, August 7, 2023, from 12Noon – 1pm, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery, Sabina.  Memorial contributions would be greatly appreciated to the funeral home to help with final arrangements.
